Why Blog?

I suppose I have been "driven to it," making a blog, that is. The need to express the things I find truly satisfying, the hope that someone else will understand - this is what brings me here.

What brings you here is probably a less interesting story. I probably sent you a link and now you're obligated to say you visited. So be it. I'm glad our friendship is at least as deep as that obligation.

For my technically and/or culturally challenged friends, a "blog" is slang for "weblog," defined as:

So, enjoy my blog. If you don't, please don't bitch to me. I really deal with enough of that elsewhere.
